WHY KIMONOS?
For me, a kimono is that one piece I reach for again and again.
I’ve worn kimonos through so many different seasons of life.
Pre-baby, it was all about fashion and style! But in those final months of pregnancy—when nothing else seemed to fit—they became my go-to. They also made it so easy to breastfeed my little one while we were out and about.
Then came the rollercoaster of weight changes, and the daily challenge of wanting to feel good in my clothes—while juggling life as a working mum and not quite feeling confident in my 'pre-baby' style.
And now, as I navigate the joys perimenopausal heatwaves and tummy bloating — my kimonos are still right there with me, through every season.
That’s why I created Wanderlust.
While many gorgeous fashion brands feature a kimono or duster here and there in their summer collections, I wanted to do something different — a carefully curated collection of stunning kimonos, all in one place, and available year-round.
Kimonos look beautiful on everybody shape or size. They’re free-flowing, flattering, and absolutely breathtaking.
Your perfect ‘go-to’ piece — to throw on after yoga and grab breakfast, or pop over your swimsuit for a cocktail by the pool on holidays.
I hope you love them, find them life-saving in those "what do I wear?!" mad panics — and just as joyful to wear as I do.

THIS IS US
In 2019 we packed our bags and ran away from Sydney's buzzing Inner West to South Australia, on one of the last flights out before the state borders locked down. We needed a quieter, slower life. Rolling hills, more fresh air, less hum of the city.
I had to step away from my high pressure career as a Creative Director working with brands such as QANTAS, Moet & Chandon, The Block, ASOS, Sculptures by The Sea and Coco Cola to name a few. To focus on being present to our little girl Dorothy (yes, she has a dog called Toto and owns ruby slippers) And to get my head around the life changing, break screeching diagnosis of Autism & ADHD in my mid 40’s. - The world stopped.
While I decided what to do for my ‘new career’, and the world was watching Tiger King. I wrote a book called Queen of Clubs about my (mis) adventures in London as a nightclub owner in my 20s and 30s. It reached Amazon #1 in Women Writers, and the reader's reaction to the story was heart-swelling and deeply humbling - but turns out writing is highly rewarding but poorly paid, unless you’re Steven King.
I still needed a ‘job’.
The advice I was given?
Solve a problem…
My solution?
KIMONOS!
In one beautiful store, all year round.
RIO NIGHT
Always a red lip and red nails - A double decade long devotion .
Somehow the majority of my shoes are leopard print. - Totally unintentional (and yes, leopard print clearly IS a neutral)
Autistic, ADHD and Dyslexic. Equal measures exhausting and debilitating, but also interesting and exhilarating. Depending on the day, hour or minute.
Ongoing love affair with vintage. One truly special piece in my collection is a delicate handmade silk kimono, I found when I was 14 ,this is when the obsession first started...
I have chosen comfort over style. - Officially
Rio by Night is my favorite 'go-to' kimono. - from the boudoir to Sunday brunch to school drop off over leggings
Palm Springs is my most loved. - Although floor length fringing on the school run is pretty fabulous, its comically impractical, but it absolutely turns heads and sets tongues wagging, which is fun …
MARS?
You could be mistaken for thinking that we live on Mars, with the orch red bouldering land formations, jagged cliffs dipping down and melting into the inky blue Gulf of St Vincent, South Australia. Charming old seaside town, met with an underwater reef, a wonderland shimmering fish, sharks, dolphins and stingrays.
Fireball sunsets, and raspberry ripple skies, - Eerily still. It feels like the edge of the world.
Port Noarlunga South, where Wanderlust was conceived, and our world revolves around. A magical corner of the world and absolutely needs to go on your Wanderlust travel bucket list.
